American Friends of Brazilian Jewish Hospitals and Education Centers is committed to protecting the online privacy of readers of the site and their donors.  This Terms of Use and Privacy Policy applies to all interactions you have with American Friends of Brazilian Jewish Hospitals and Education Centers through this site.

For instance, we may use the e-mail provided in the registration form to forward news about the American Friends of Brazilian Jewish Hospitals and Education Centers, such as donation campaigns, events and projects developed by the institutions supported by this Association.  The request also allows us to offer greater security to all site users.

The Association will not disclose or share the data collected with companies or third parties except on the occasions mentioned herein nor will send e-mail or correspondence from organizations or third parties.

IP addresses and log file data

The IP address, which is the location of your computer or network on the Internet, is recorded so that the system administrator can solve the causes of any errors or failures. Personal information is not collected by the log file.

Children’s privacy.

We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act 1998 (COPPA). COPPA and the accompanying FTC regulations provide for the protection of the privacy of children under the age of 13 who use the Internet, under The United States federal law.  Our website is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

No one under age 13 may provide any personal information through this site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use or provide any information on this site or provide any information about yourself to us, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information.
